What is EroeGo?

EroeGo is the first 'ugly' food delivery service in the UAE.  Eating healthily can be pricey, but despite this, around 1 million tonnes of food is still wasted each year in the UAE alone. 

A lot of this waste comes from supermarkets turning down groceries that are 'ugly' or considered to be excess produce.  

That's where we come in. 

We embrace this perfectly good food, rescue it, and deliver it straight to your door instead. 

So, by shopping with EroeGo to save time and lower your grocery bill, you'll be making the world a less wasteful place.

Why should I use EroeGo?

We go far beyond just saving you money on your shopping. Together, we're on a mission to fix the broken and alarming food ecosystem.  

The call to prevent food waste and loss cannot be understated. We live in a world where a third of what is produced does not get to the consumer, mainly because of biased and irrelevant standards - this piece of fruit is 'too big', that one is 'too small' and the other is a 'funny shape'. Not only do these superficial standards lead to food waste, but it's wasting water and needlessly emitting CO2 as well - a burden that food producers, farmers and wholesalers are left to bear. 

Our pledge to fight food waste brings about new values that would have otherwise been lost. We're making high-quality produce more affordable and more easily available.  

After selecting a box, we'll update you weekly on what you can expect to find in your delivery. And, we can even add or exclude specific items, giving you more flexibility while helping you save money.  

Then, for every box delivered, we'll provide meals for two people facing hunger, to help fight inequality. 

How is this food ‘different’ from what’s in grocery stores?

Because we partner with producers, farmers and wholesalers, we have access to produce that's delicious, fresh and perfectly good to eat. They may be a little 'ugly', but this allows us to make them cheaper for you. The look and size of our produce does not define it, though - ours tastes better than the food you'd typically find in a grocery store. It's fresher as well because it won't have been stored for as long.

Soon, we'll be introducing even more pantry staples that are sourced sustainably.  

How are you different from other ‘ugly’ produce delivery services?

We are much more than an 'ugly' produce delivery service. We believe that every bit of food should be eaten. We're also the first company in the MENA region to offer more than food delivery - we're committed to reducing CO2 emissions and making society sustainable.  

EroeGo gives you access to high-quality produce you'll find in grocery stores, just up to 30% cheaper. This is all thanks to our direct partnerships with food producers, farmers and wholesalers.  

Each week a dedicated associate helps to pack your grocery items. They'll even create a special recipe to inspire your weekly cooking. The food items include organic produce that other delivery services may not offer. 

As a company, part of our focus is making food more affordable and accessible. That is why we are committed to providing cheaper and discounted produce to all the locations we currently serve. 

How it works

How does EroeGo work?

Choose a box of fruit and/or veg that'll suit your needs and dietary requirements, then simply order it in one click from the comfort of your home. Our associates will pack your produce and will deliver your box of quality, sustainable groceries every week with minimal or no emissions where possible. 

You'll eat better, cut your grocery bill by up to 30%, help rescue perfectly good food, reduce water waste and cut down CO2 emissions as well. You'll be making the world a cleaner, more sustainable place.  

Existing users can even log in to view upcoming orders and request items to be added or excluded from your delivery each week. Soon, you'll be able to set a weekly or bi-weekly order limit, and choose from a wider variety of items to add to your cart. (Be the first to know and receive 20% of your order.)  

Each week, everyone will get a new item added to their box, offering some variety while promoting a healthy lifestyle. You'll still have complete control though, so you can edit your order and add or exclude items from your boxes. You can even cancel any time, with no strings attached. 

Where does EroeGo Deliver?

At the moment, we're currently delivering to all areas in Dubai, UAE.

How would I know what is in my order?

In each weekly shopping window, you'll be able to view all the items that will be delivered that week. If you don't like something that's been picked out, you can always choose to exclude it. 

Can I include my allergy information? Can I omit certain items from my box?

Yes, you can tell us this information in your account settings or when you sign up, and we will remove these items from your box. You can edit these details at any time. 

How do I place my order? How long do I need to wait for delivery?

To place an order, please follow these steps: 

  1. When you sign up, select which box you'd like. 
  2. You are charged at the start of your billing date, which is the date that your order will be shipped to you (check here to see if your account info is up to date). As soon as you are charged, we'll send you a confirmation message. 
  3. Our associates will work to ensure that your order arrives on your selected delivery date. If we are experiencing a delay for any reason, we will contact you by phone or text message to update you.

Packaging, shipping and payment

Is EroeGo packaging eco-friendly?

Yes, our packaging is eco-friendly. This allows us to help make society more sustainable while keeping your food perfectly fresh and safe during delivery. 

Will the produce in my box go off in the hot weather?

Not at all. Your produce is delivered in a temperature-controlled van that will take the shortest route to you. If you believe that your food has suffered because of the temperature while in transit, please contact our Contact Support service here.  

When is the delivery? How long does it take to arrive?

The delivery is scheduled on your preferred date and time, and we'll bring it right to your doorstep. The day and time can be changed in your account if needed. Once your box is out for delivery, we'll send you a message so that you can track your order. 

Who delivers my package, and how can I contact the driver?

We'll send you a message when your box is shipped, and one of our well-trained associates will deliver it to your home. Generally, the driver will prefer to ring the doorbell and hand the box to you. But if the kids are sleeping upstairs, for example, just leave a note on the door, and the driver won't disturb you. 

I will not be home to accept my package. Can I request a reschedule?

Of course, you are free to request a rescheduled delivery. Kindly advise us in advance by updating the preferences in your account. 

Which day in the week is my order scheduled to be delivered?

You can choose your preferred day of delivery. 

How much does EroeGo charge for delivery?

Delivery is currently free, subject to the terms of our business.  

What type of payment does EroeGo accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards for payment. 

When am I charged for my order?

Once you complete the payment process, you will receive a confirmation that you have been charged. If you are on a recurring plan, you will be charged each week before your delivery is due to be shipped out. 

Manage your account

Can I skip a delivery or pause orders if I need to?

Yes, there is an option to do so. If you ever need to skip a delivery, you can easily take a week off - just log in here and change the preferences in your account. Or, why not donate the food to people facing hunger instead? 

How can I change the frequency of my deliveries?

You're welcome to skip an order for any reason, for example, if you're going on holiday. Log in to your account, and you can update and change the frequency of your order.  

Can I cancel when I want to?

Yes, you can easily cancel with no strings attached - just visit the preference area in your account. We will not charge you any fees or penalties. When you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be charged. Please note, this will not cancel any order that's already been processed at our end.  

Of course, we're on a mission together to fight food waste, so we'd hate to see you go. But, if you do have to leave, our customer service team would just like a quick chat first. We'd also like to thank you for all the food you've helped us reclaim. 

Other useful information

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we sell gift cards. You can purchase them directly from your account, and anyone can use them - they make a great present! 

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. At EroeGo we believe everyone can be an E(H)roe by spreading the word on fighting food waste, so we've created a great referral programme. Simply log in and copy or share the code with friends or family to get a reward put in your account - they'll get a 20% discount on their first order too.

Why doesn't all the food go to charities, If food waste is a big issue, ?

Food waste is a huge economic, societal and environmental issue, and we cannot leave it to farmers and wholesalers to fix on their own. Unfortunately, most of them do not have the infrastructure to process, store and send excess food produce to charitable organisations on an ongoing basis. And, many charities do not have the infrastructure to accept food produce either, so it ends up going to waste. 

At EroeGo, we believe that every pound of food should be eaten. So, we're offering a more sustainable approach by rescuing this high-quality produce and making it available to people at an affordable price.  

We're also firm believers in philanthropy, and we have initiatives in place to donate food to those who are hungry. If a customer needs to skip one of their deliveries, we can also help them donate the food to people in need, if they'd like.
